A Different Exhaust Question, I Think?

After reading many of the exhaust related posts, and doing an exhausting
(pun intended) research.:D
Why is the MBRP exhaust the exhaust of choice? It seems to beat out (by word of mouth) the other manufacturers by quite a margin. Is it price? Is it quality? Is it ease of install? What do the letters MBRP stand for?
Where is this system manufactured? Where is the company located?
I’d like to thank you very much for your time and help in advance.:thumbs

in a word FIT...and OPTIONS (test pipe that bolts in and out in
all of about 15min. TOPS)...i cant vouch for anything other than
MBRP (ive got the single, turbo back w/ cat delete/test pipe).

MBRP.com is HQ'd in Canada...
i think youll find that DPPI is the prefered vendor of choice...although
im sure there are others that are VERY good too.

ITP also handles MBRP...ive dont biz w/ both and BOTH are great
companies that support this forum !

hey bush-
that is two words...:tounge but i would have to agree.

if you are right you are right, but if you are wrong then you are guessing. and here is my guess: Mandrel Bent Rolled Pipe (MBRP)!:dunno

i seem to recall reading somewhere what i stood for but can't seem to find it now, go figure.

i like my mbrp because of the things already mentioned, ease of putting kitty back on if needed

as for fit.... it took me several days to get it right to not vibrate on the crss member
but all in all i like it

if you click on there home page: mbrp.com and go to 'company' info you'll find an interview w/ him detailing his company at the SEMA show.

i guess my guess was wrong....

Recently installed the cool duals. Installation is straight-forward and dual pipes are nicely aligned on the exit with the stock hanger (passenger side) and the provided hanger on the driver side. All the components align and fit together nice -- better than expected with an aftermarket product.

When I first drove it after installation I had a nasty vibration coming from contact between the turbo down-pipe and the frame rail. Come to findout that I was over zealous to finish the job and tightened the connection at the turbo too early during the installation (rather than the last step as the instructions suggest  ).

Great turbo/exhaust harmony at 1800 rpm with 8lbs boost. On-and-off the throttle all the way to work :sweet. Adding a cat-delete as I've heard the turbo whistle really comes to life.

Finally, appears to be a Canadian company from Huntsville, Ontario.

zr1pete,

Not too much more I can add that the other members haven't already gotten for you except it's Huntsville, Ontario. Only other thing is we will be glad to help you on questions, we've been selling MBRP since the day they built the 1st system so we have had all the questions you could ever think up!! In fact the 1st 6.0 system was built on my 6.0 on a trip to MBRP back in late 2002!!
