How cold is the air? I am almost convinced that part of my a/c problems (as discussed on another thread) are because of the hot weather. For the last three days our high temperature has been 103. Today my wife in her 2008 F-150 and my oldest son in his 2006 Explorer had problems with their a/c's blowing warmer air when stopped in traffic. My F-250 is blowing colder air at highway speeds. Tomorrow we have a cooling trend starting and high temps in the low 90s by early next week, so hopefully our air will be colder all the time.

you may be low on coolant.... mine is plenty cold at idle, cruising speeds, etc... today i missed with it the entire trip from branson to crawford county in missouri... and it was fine all day... the temp outside was a lil better but not so much that it should've made a difference.... maybe it just had a glitch for awhile?? time will tell.....

but if your blowing hot air at idle that could be a sign you are low on coolant??
