A BUSY 4 days ??

Flew to Denver last Tuesday, to help some good friends move Back to Caly..

Loaded 7 rooms of stuff into a 26' U-Haul, and a Toyota pick-up onto a 2 axle car hauler.. on Wednesday

Left Denver at 6:00 AM Thursday, in the U-Haul.. and them in a Tundra, w/5r in tow... Arrived in Cedar City, UT at 6:30 PM.. I-70/I-15.

Left Cedar City at 7:00 AM Friday.. arrived in Hanford, Ca at 6:30 PM.

1148.3 miles.

Who sez.. the "Ol Dogs can't run with the Younger Dogs...

Surprisingly..... Good Equipment (2011 GMC w/40K on it), Good weather & traffic.. made it Easy Money.

Once I figured out what the Jimmy needed (454?), to run & pull good.. he trucked right along at 62 MPH. Kept the R's above 3K pull'n grades and the like. Seems like U-Haul has done their Homework.. on R&D ?

My friend was a "Bed Bug" hauler for 25 years.. so the Box was PACKED full, top to bottom.. 4K of Toyota & trailer.. the GMC actually pulled better than the Tundra & 5'r, thru the mountains.

Beer, Pizza and some Sleep in Cedar City.. Took'r to the Barn on Friday.

Roy, that's what being retired is all about, you can sleep for 3 day or 4 if you like. LOL
Glad you had a good trip Joe, nice to be able to help an old friend.
