Question 99 F250 V10 w/320K

Hey All,

I'm looking at a nice 2wd 99 F250 with a V10 and 320k miles. Is this a good idea or a bad idea? How much more life is in the V10?

Not a good idea unless it's free.

If you are staying away from a diesel because you think they are too expensive to fill....... wait till you start driving that V10 around... You'll be lucky to get 12 mpg in it!

320k miles is a lot for a gas motor, I wouldn't want it unless it was free and I wasn't going on any long trips. Tell us more has the motor ever been replaced?
