Two clips on the top and one on the lower backside in the corner towards the fender side. You may also have to push in on the lamp to take pressure off the clips.

Thanks Justin. I saw the top 2 clips, and didn't see the bottom one. I don't understand the clip system. I think maybe my brain is broken this week!

The bottom part of the clip is riding on the threads of a fastener, and the top part seems to be floating against the plastic. Don't see what to spread apart, per Budro's explanation earlier.

From past experience I know I can break it. But I'd rather just release it! Thanks! :thanks

There should be a tab thats bent at 90* and use some niddle nose and yank that puppy straight up while pushing in. It's helpful to go buy about 3-4 replacement clips since I broke a few on removal. Mine were on for about 6yrs and just broke on removal. Just my 2 cents let me know how it goes.

what the heck?

I have yanked the top 2 clips. Cannot find the bottom clip, "lower backside" toward fender. If you can describe this to me so I can find the bloody thing, it would be real sweet!  :thanks

It's on the bottom right up next to the inner fender well in front of the batteries use a flash light. It's hard to see with out some lighting, you also might try pulling the batteries out to gain easier access. This is what I had to do. Let me know how it goes.

I have had that durn battery out twice lately, but with a bum ankle it aint coming out today! At this point I'll be pretty pleased if I can just find it. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. Back to the driveway...:thanks

I posted some pix of how far I got before I put it back together, here's proof I found & removed 2 clips. Where o where is that 3rd little booger. More pix on my gallery.

Ok when I did mine it's a little easier if you can remove the lower turn signal lamps so the headlamps come out easier. These are photo's of a stock headlamp and two of the third adjuster that way you can see the alignment of the prongs where the tabs attach. Also attached are for the location of the third prong in the inside towards the fender on both sides. On this prong/nipple you have to squeeze them in to pull the light/prong out of the hole. See attached close up of the prong and it's two wing tips that have to be pushed in by screwdriver or squeezed by piliars.

pics are attached:
