just wondering if rims from a 2004 f350 will fit on (my truck) 97 f250 HD ?
thanx !
thanx !
Rims from an E-Series van will work....
As already stated
?? - 97 - F-250, F-350 = 8 x 6.5"
99 - Present F-250, F-350 = 8 x 170mm
?? - Present E-250, E- 350 = 8x6.5"
The F-450 + does not count.... they have 10 lugs, up to 11 it think, then the 450 has 8 lugs, but a different pattern yet.... and the 550 are 10 lug also.....
Alot of guys next door on oilburners.net have asked the same question....... and this is the issue.....
Stroked,
The body style change was in 92. The van body was 73 -91 and the 92 up. The changes through the years was a face lift (grill changes etc, similar to the trucks) 73-78 had round headlights, 79 changed to square, in the mid 80's they moved the spelled out F O R D across the hood to the blue oval in the middle of the grill (same change on the 83 F-Series) were basically the same up to the 91 body change. 92 was the entirely new body, and has stayed basically the same.... grill changes, headlight changes....
However, the wheels have stayed the same, in the late 90'2 or early 2000, they changed the rear axle to a disk brake system, some guys have used these hard to find axles to do a disk conversion on the older trucks. The vans are the 'read-headed stepchild" of Ford vehicles.......
