And now for the REST of the story!
Ran codes. 0603 and 1211. Not much help.
Pulled IPR. It was spotless which surprised me with the mileage. O rings and pressure back up ring were in excellent shape.
Reinstalled IPR with new o rings and back up ring. Reinstalled the filter housing (can't get the IPR out without removing it on my truck). Cleaned filter screen and filled up HPOP resevoir. Reconnected batteries.
Cranked over to prime and IT STARTED!!
WHY???
I had read on the site about resetting the PCM by disconnecting the batteries for 30 minutes. My batteries had been disconnected for four days. This is the only thing I can attribute the starting to as I found nothing else wrong.
Don't get me wrong I love the fact that the beast is back on the road but not knowing what corrected the problem bothers me.
