i have a budy with a super duty that has lost compression and found a powerstroke out of a 95, other than swapping injectors and turbo what issues could you run into to do the swap?

Different programming that fires the injectors. 95's have single shots and superduties have split shots. Atleast that what I have been told since I want to install single shot 100hp injectors in my truck. I'd also have to get a chip that will work with single shot programming.

I went through quite a bit of expense before I found someone who could get the tuning right for single shots in a Superduty. Save yourself the trouble and go straight to the solution: Bill @ Power Hungry Performance.

Bill put a modified single shot, stock tune on my PCM as well as single shot tunes on my flip chip.

the intake manifolds have a couple fewer bolts on the '95 heads than the later models and you'll need to run you later model intakes, block off the fuel pump port.

It'll work you just need to use the long block from the '95 and swap everything else over from the newer engine. I'd suggest using the SD injectors, VC & UVC Harnesses. The OBS trucks had 2 electrical connectors on each VC gasket and were more prone to burning than the more robust SD harness.

How are those injectors and tuning holding up for you? Ive heard better mpg and power from them.
