Question 95 7.3 code reader

I can't find a code reader for my 1995 F350. Even that $1000 AE unit I can't tell if it'll do it correctly. What can I use instead of an $85 dealer visit?

If you know anyone with a programmer, most will read codes. The Edge Evolution will read and clear them.

I'm using Alex Pepper's OBDII software on my laptop to check & clear codes on my truck.

The AE tool you need for your truck will be around $350 visit ITP diesel and you'll need the Total ford bundle
