90 F350

There is a 90 F350 for sale for 600 OBO. Says Engine smokes but tranny is good as well as front end. People are often looking for the front ends as these have a solid axel correct? I doubt I could use the tranny off of it for my truck or as a spare but it sounds like there is a lot of good parts. Better yet it may be a worthwhile truck to put some money into the engine and have a real beater work horse.

Any thoughts?

sounds like a steal,is it a manual,if so,does it have the zf tranny in it,5 speed,ive been lookin for one,my syncros have had it,,i need a new tranny

No, It is an Auto, I sent him an e-mail asking him questions. I fixed my WVO valves on my Mercedes tonight and tomorrow I'm going to tackle my tranny and take it out. I'm going to take it up North about an hour as soon as I get it out and trade a guy a Lawnmower I got for free for a motorcycle that I'm making a diesel. If I could go up and pick up a new ford at the same time for under 600 it would be a very very good day if I say so myself. Hmm I should see what else I have around the house to trade Broken laptop, a couple dogs, a wife ok I'm just up trouble now. Who knows may it is my lucky week.
