Still haveing starting problems when truck has been warmed up and driven then shut off a couple off times then it dosn't start. had it into dealer a few times and it won't do it for them. It has been doing it more often now so the dealer said unless it shows a code or will do it for them when they have a scan tool hooked to it they can't throw any parts at it to try to fix it. Well I got a number for Ford custumer care to see if they had some clue how to fix it. Talked to a very nice lady who gave me the warranty to ease my worrys about being stranded with a dead truck. I know it doesn't fix the problem but it makes me feel better about their concern. I have always owned Fords and allready have the extended warranty on our five-hundred. Its gotten to be a joke around work and people we go racing with about me never shutting my truck off if I plan on going somewhere again soon.

The HPOP needs to build a certain pressure before the computer will allow the injectors to work. Sometimes there is a leak in the high pressure oil system that prevents the hpop from building the required oil pressure for a start. Cold starts can be better with this kind of leak because the oil is thicker which allows the required pressure to build, then she warms up and won't start. You need to get it on a diagnostic tool and check out what oil pressure is building to on the hot start.

Its been on a diagnostic tool and reads over 500psi at start to the injectors. The dealer had it for three days and drove it with the tool connected but coundn't get it to act up. Its a random thing and it won't do it when it gets near a dealership. It hasn't done it now that we have had a cold streak.
