I've got a decently modded 7.3 shaggy and i've had pretty good luck so far, never dynoed or anything, got juice/attitude, full exhaust, intake, etc....i bought a suncoast converter, just havent had the time to put it in yet, trans still shifts well, got the transcommand and the maghytech deep trans pan, tranny does do some occasional stupid ****, which i think is the converter, doesnt slip under a heavy load, and rebuilding is useless unless you are slipping. I believe more than anything in a 7.3, but u know how it is, everybody obviously has there own opinions, some love the 6.0 more than any, either way i think you'll be mint.

I have no personal experience with the 6.0, but I have had only great experience with the 7.3. They don't put down the numbers that any other truck does stock, but they have proven themselves as sturdy and reliable for the past 12 years.
