I'm sure this has been discussed before but I was wanting to know what the fuel mileage is for these two trucks in crew cab 4x4 completely stock.

Thanks

The MPG's between the two is basically.. insignificant, Stock. Maintanence & Repair history would be the factors to concider.. depending on the overall condition and miles driven, between the two.

Jus my .03

well my excursion gets any where from 14 to 21 all depends on the way its driven this will prob start a debate but the 7.3 is a much more reliable motor

Stock 7.3

I have a basic stock 00 and get between 19.5 and 20.5@2k RPM with the CC on driving down the freeway. Yes I'm quite happy with it.

Kind of a wash, 6.0's would get better but they have alot of emissins BS vs the 7.3 has a bigger displacment but doesn't have egr or emissions tuning. Mine is bone stock withe exception of an exhaust and i get about 14 city and 17-18 highway unloaded
