Where can I find information on performing a 1995 7.3 Powerstroke conversion into an 1994 Ford F-350 that had a factory International diesel engine in it. Wiring help, tips, etc.

So the '94 was an IDI 7.3, and you want to put a PS out of a '95 into it?

This will be infinitley difficult.

A resource that may help would be the dieselstop. I am not sure any body on this forum would have any idea on where to even begin.

If the 94 was a 7.3 IDI you got quite a bit of work
the mootr mounts and the displacement is about all thats the same
new ECM/PCM, water pump changed directions. different tranny, and crossmembers.
I searched back and couldnt find a definitive answer on when the PS was offered in the van. I thought it was 94 late in the model year.
92 was last year of non turbo 7.3 idi
93 shifted to a turbo then 1/2 way through the year it changed again in the pickups.
I dont like to agree about the the drama stop, but their archive may hold the answers as hoss mentioned.
sounds interesting

This project can be done, but you must start it knowing that it will be very costly and time consuming. What you need to start with is a donor truck that originally was rolled off the line in with a PSD in it. You need every last chassis mounted sensor and electronic gadget off the donor truck to fit into your pre-PSD model. That would be the PCM, IDM, VSS, Speedo. Others behind me will chime in with what else you may run across. But as already has been stated, it might be easier to just go buy a complete 1995 F350 (or newer) and drive it. Or, recondition the old 7.3 IDI in your 94. I have one of the best resources on the net available for you if you intend to go the IDI route. Just drop back in here and I'll get you pointed in the right direction.

Correction, in 1994,

You could buy a 7.3 Non Turbo IDI, a 7.3 Turbo IDI and also the 7.3 Turbo DI (powerstroke). :sweet
