7.3 fuel mileage?

7.3L 4WD Auto 4.10 rear
15-19 mpgs depending on my lead foot
A 3.73 rear will get better mileage than a 4.10.
4.10s are rated to tow more than a 3.73.
3.73s are rated to tow more than a Ranger.

heh - I would hope even 3.55's would tow more than a ranger Of course my 4 banger has 4.56 gears with 27" tires.... so towing isn't a problem for me buuut my buddies and I ride 4 wheelers.... a lot... and taking 4 trucks to carry 4 quads is kinda ridiculous... so I'm thinkin we all pitch in and get a pretty good sized trailer and just throw em all on there and tow it with a 250

Man after reading all these replies i am for sure never getting rid of my truck,cause with 4.10 gears and setting the cruise at 70-75 and with a 35 gal tank i am getting 20mpg loaded or empty.Wow,and it seems that there are some close ones but maybe everyone is sooped up more than mine but i can still haul 36,000 lbs and not flinch so if that is the case i would hate to see what they can do sooped up.
