Ok, just spent the day out in the shop working on the truck . .gotta love it.
Flushed Tranny, replaced Magnafine filter
Replaced Racor 3500 CCV filter
Replaced AIS filter
Changed Engine oil/filter
Lubed chassis
One thing that was listed in the 60k maintenance schedule was to grease the front hub needle bearings. (4x4) I didn't break out the shop manual to look up the procedure but I was a little surprised as I thought these were sealed hubs? Has anyone done the procedure and if so what's involved?
I have to say that I'm really tickled with the AIS and Racor CCV combination. I've put 30k on them now and both filters were good to go for another 10k I'd say. The filter minder was at 60-75% restriction and the filter still looked great. The intake tract was bone dry. (no oily film or anything like it)
Regards,
Dave
