So let me see if I get this right. If a guy services the egr regularly, and blows the cobwebs out once in a while, keeps the motor stock w/no tunes or power building parts, and uses the truck like it's meant to be used(towing, long trips, etc) then it's pretty trouble free? Can you also delete the egr and solve half the problems? Thanks for the replies, I'll pass the info on.
You got it - a guy that i know through work has an 04 cc drw he bought brand new and tows everyday with it and so far has had zero issues. I think he has over 110k on it and its completely stock. You can delete the egr but in 05 and newer trucks you will get a CEL unless you have a tuner.
