Alan grew up in a Ford family. His dad worked for Ford, and Alan tried to sell Fords in his younger days. I think his contract ran out with Ford, he later did a Chevy commercial. I'm sure he still owns some Fords. Actually his wife located an old Thunderbird that he used to own, bought it and had it restored for him.
