Question 6.0 L injectors

My question is about injectors ? I have a 2006 engine the recently had all 8 injectors done , only went about 8000 miles before the bottom went bad , will those injectors work in my 2003 6L ? I know they are physically the same , I am wondering about delivery etc ?

Not sure.....

I have always seen them listed a 2003-2004.5 and 2004.5-2007.... They are "different" but I am not sure how they are different......

For example:

6.0L Powerstroke HEUI injectors, 2004.5 and prior years - $198.30 2004.5 and later years - $183.50

This is from the Conestoga Diesel Website. This is one type he carries, but I have seen them all listed this way. There is even a comment about color plastic on the injectors.......

to add the 2004.5 through 2007 was during the period where the (upgraded heads which were part of the 6.4) heads were being used as part of the commonalty thing, it did involve physical changes in head bolt configuration, so there is good possibility they are different

A quick google search, people are saying you can use them in 03 if you change them all out.
