That's a nice sale price, but that is totally out of the question for me to spend that much time away right now. I can always wait longer, but I doubt the rebates will last that long.

Im not sure if our Ford dealers are offering the same, I'll find out tomorrow. Going to look around locally.

I'm not biased against either motors, but I figured that Gray truck might be worth a shot to see how low I can negotiate down if the truck looks like it's worth it.

i like the grey truck better, too, just that after working on a navy base, need another color other than white...

october 03....kinda goes along w/ what ive heard breakdown/build wise....
apparently <and im no authority on the subject...just remember hearing
and reading> there were some significant changes after sept. 03....
alot could have been 1st model year growing pains & tech/mechanic training
issues.

i agree white trucks arent not necessarily my favorite...but done
up right they can look like something OTHER than a company/work
truck...at the same time a white truck will be easily resold (to a company
looking for a work truck if nothing else)

it is a report on a ford vehicle by VIN
some dealers wil lcharge you and some dont.
If your buying it from a dealer it should be free if they want the sale
its a report of all FORD performed service and TSB plus warranty work that was entered in the big ford computer a good guide as to how the truck has been treated or not
and warranty issues

My truck was built in april of 03...Clean oasis, no problems with 52k on the clock....knock on wood..but this has been an excellent truck...I love it!

Thanks for the info POWERBOATR! I plan on buying a PSD in the future and it sounds like getting an OASIS report is something worthwhile.

Do you know the cost when they aren't free?

Also, do they include a "build list" that describes what options the original truck was ordered with? Just curious.

I have never heard anyone asking for a build sheet. You will have to ask the Dealer that sold the truck if they have any information on that. I have never paid for an Oasis report. I don't ask for they very often.
