FYI 6.0 egr turbo siezed from egr cooler failure

Turbo on a 6.0 that was swallowing coolant because egr cooler failed. took it apart sandblasted exhaust side and reconditioned it, luckly for the customer I was able to save this one, it was completely siezed. It was suffering from carbon to begin with, when coolant got in there, in formed a paste that then turned to a concrete like substance.

its was not the coolant that cemented the carbon particles, it is the OIL vapors.

The guide vanes are on the turbine wheel (exhaust), not on the compressor (intake air). Shouldn't be any oil vapors in the exhaust, but there sure is soot and coolant (w/ the EGR cooler leak).
