I have an 03 w/ a 6.0 that 3-5 times a week has long cranks, 3 or 4 cycles before starting. It has been going on for a year, hot or cold, rain, sun, or snow. Ford has changed everthing, all sensors, wire harnesses, all related items, even a new short block but no help. The ford engineers are stumped. They are not willing to do a buy back because I bought it used. Any suggestions?

heres a dumb question, but here goes. did the dealer check the glow plugs and controller operation? what about the high pressure oil pump, if it is not building enough pressure to fire the injectors, it will be hard, or impossible to start.

Once it starts is fine

how does it run once it's started?
Once it finally starts it runs fine. I'm more upset at FORD Solutions team. They keep giving me the run around and dont even call back. Some solution.
