6.0 crankshafts?

I was just talking to a guy who hauls cars for a living, he mentioned he was looking for a truck but said that the 6.0 motors that he is aware of has had snapped cranks? I have not heard of that? i am sure anything is possible.
Any one heard of people that work these having crank issues??

Seen a few Duramax's that have broken the cranks. Heard of some early 6.0's with crank failure, but not sure about TSB's for this issue. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in. In general, the 6.0 has a bad reputation. Not looking to get flamed, mine's been pretty good, but folks do tend to trash the motor.
