Ok I have two 6.0s. On my 350 dump truck, everytime I go to plug the block heater in, it trips the outlet on my house. However I use the same cord on the other truck and its fine. It has to be the truck. Any ideas?

try swapping the cord from truck to truck(that runs to the block heater). it could have worn through and shorted out or could be the heater element, having issues...hope this helps

bet the dealer rapes ya for more than the cost of the cord...
its either the cord or the element...assuming everything else is
the same between the two trucks.

if youre still w/ in the 12/12k warranty theyll be no charge...anything
else and the dealer is gonna try an stick it to ya !

stick an ohm meter on the cord and see what it reads...someone
on here will remember what the resistance should be...

The trucks 3 months old and has 2500 miles on it. Warrenty shouldnt be an issue an my dealer is good about that stuff. What an OHM meter an where do i get one, I think my uncles got one ill have to check...
