scarlet nape I 've got a buddy who owns a muffler shop over in Addison by the airport. He has tons of exhaust tips in stock and you can try two or more before you decide. I found a nice stainless steel 5" tip that looks sweet and had it installed today. Pm me if your interested and I'll go by with you. Joe does alot of work on old muscle cars and performace vehicles. He does all the work on are families vehicles. Ask for Joe it's a one man shop.

Well, since I'm definitely going with the 4" exhaust, what you say makes sense. I don't see any benefit to the 5" for my truck.
Now, I have to decide between aluminized and T-409. Cost vs. benefit thing.

ive got the cheaper stainless...it held up well even when i was
living in virginia last year.

consider that your truck has a form of stainless now...why go
"less" than what the factory has provided ya already....'course
then again youre in texas too so aluminized is probably just fine.

even the cheaper grade (sorry i get the numbers confused) of
stainless can be shined up pretty nicely...yeah thats right i HAVE
"cleaned" and LIGHTLY polished the visible parts of my MBRP...
and before you start laughing....i know others w/ the same illness that i have ;)

Bush,

That's pure sanity as far as I'm concerned. The more I baby my truck, the more the wife hates it! :D
