5.4 v8 swap for 6.0 v8 diesel

I have a 03 ford f250 with a 5.4 v8. I love my truck it is sonic blue in mint condition 4in pro comp lift. I was wondering how tuff of a swap this is or should I not waste my time and just get a new truck. Now the question is 6.0 swap or 7.3 anyway please let me know if this is worth doing because I really want a diesel and dont wanna sell my truck.

i think the swap would be easy, HOWEVER.....in order to get all the needed parts and harnesses and little bits, you will probably end up buying a crashed truck. why not just sell yours, and with the money buy a sonic blue 7.3. just my opinion of course, so if you go ahead with the swap post lots of pictures!

The biggest thing about this swap is the electronics. All of the computers have to be changed along with the wiring harnesses. I don't recommend this unless you are very good at electronics and electrical wiring. BIG JOB!!

Or, you could get a cummins. There are actually kits for it. You will need a complete donor truck, no matter what you do.

even with the kits...they arent as easy and fun when you get knee deep in it.
