I was out messing around the other day and I noticed in 4x4low it would squeek. I expect that when using the brakes, which I HATE, but not when pushing the truck forward. I always keep everything greased up with every oil change. Is this normal or not?

If you lock in the hubs, but leave the transfer in 2wd, does it still do it? If so, I'm guessing it is a dry axle joint, or U-joint in the front driveshaft.

When I was on my way to work, i was in a right hand turn....putting more pressure on the left/driver side tire, I noticed a little squeek, kinda like a bird chirp.

I will check it this evening. Is there parts of the axle that dont get greased when it is serviced?

If the axle joints are original, they won't have grease zerks in them. That means that they don't get greased. If they are shot, and the hubs are in, then they will make noise especially when turning. If the hubs are locked, the front driveshaft will be turning as well. Could be a bad u-joints on it as well. Also as a side note, I've seen the backing plate make a slight squeek when turning as well, check and make sure it's not right up against the backside of the rotor. Good Luck

Side note of a side note, are the wheel bearings tight? If there loose, they could be making the noise.
