I'm wondering if anyone can give me a good place to start looking for why my truck wont go into low range. I bought it about six months ago and just the other day tried it and it was not working. Any ideas. This is my first post. Thanks

I will bet that you have ESOF (Electronic Shift On the Fly) for your four wheel drive. It is locked in Hi range. Try it a couple of times and it may go in. Do this while driving slowly. Good Luck!!

Is it electronic shift on the fly? I just had a problem with mine.
Turned out to be a simple relay under the hood. Next to power distribution box under the hood is 1 or 2 small hooded relay covers. 1 is for electronic shifing solenoid, other (if present) is for trailer tow package. There are 2 relays in each box.
Try changing these around and see if it then works. I took the trailer tow relays and swapped them for shift relays and it was fixed. (Same part numbers) If you don't have trailer tow package you would have to pick up relays to test with.

I'll try it

Heading out to look at the relays, try my foot on the brake, and try giving it a roll. Thanks for the tips. Kirbco:clap:
