4x4 not working

i am in need of some help my 4x4 quit working and i cant figure out why i put a 6inch lift on in dec and noticed i had pinched my vacume line off and found out last weekend while out playing at the river we fixed the line but my hubs wont lock in but my front driveline will turn while in 4x4. i have the auto hubs that donot have the manual option can anybody give me some advice on what to check out before i go give the shop a bunch of money also how hard is it to switch the auto hubs to like some manual only hubs i hate that vacume crap. my truck is a 02 f250 7.3 crewcab thanks alot in advance for all the help.

the vac. hubs have seals and o-rings that might be leaking...

you can ALWAYS lock the hubs manually (gotta get out
and turn 'em from auto to lock)...which wouldnt be any
different than if you had fully manual (warn) hubs.

you can pull the vac. line at the wheel and use a hand
vac (mity-vac) to drawl a vac. on the hub and see
if it locks or leaks.

if neither hub is locking then youll need to look at the vac.
pump thats mounted on the passenger fender, in the engine
bay

if theirs a vac. leak (or pump problem) in the lines other than the
hub (seals) you can typically tell because youre a/c will default
to full defroster mode and you wont be able to change it to
dash or floor directed air).

What kind of hubs are they. I haven't seen a auto lock hub for a SD that didn't have a manual lock on them.

as far as i know they are factory ive had them apart and they are totally auto yea its the only one ive seen like it also
