Help Needed 4x4 issues....

After all the headache, I am beginning to believe it is just a quirk of the truck... The truck is a crew cab long bed and I think it is binding up just because of the loooooong wheelbase. I came to this conclusion because it doesn't bind up unless the t-case is engaged. If it was an axle joint, it should bind up even when only the manual hubs are engaged. Since it only happens when locked into 4x4, it must be because of the big difference in wheel turning speed from the front axles to the rear in a tight turn.

I guess I will have to live with it....:dunno

Yes, That is how 4 X 4 works, and as you stated it will bind on a hard surface in a turn. I have had this binding in 4 trucks and my Jeep. The shorter the wheelbase, the worse the binging. My Jeep was almost undriveable with the hubs locked, on the street. My truck can be driven all over with the hubs locked, and no bind except tight truns.
