4R100 Tranny Problems!

My 01' is blinking also can someone tell me what a P0713 code is? All I saw was a P1713 and that says its tranny problems which is kinda not help full. It shifts fine and doesn't act funny also the sppedo doesn't bounce or act up so its got me wondering what the problem is.

P0713 Trans temp circuit high input....Probable causes. Open circuit, biased sensor

The TFT sensor is in the solenoid pack.

P1713 TFT stuck in low range.. below 50 degrees.

The solenoid pack controls the tranny shifts based on input from the PCM.

Hi everyone im new to the site. Just bought my first deisel a 2003 f250 with the 7.3. It is a rebuild in progress! I am having tranny problems the old tranny that was in the truck was in bad shape from the wreak so i bought a used one (4r100 out of an 2001) from a salvage yard for $800. After switching it out it will not shift into overdrive and the light on the shifter blinks. checked all fuses replace the bad ones and still same problem. Wondering if it could be the wireing harnest looks to be ok but maybe something im not able to see. Any ideals?

Keep a close eye on the smell of your tranny fluid if smells burned watch out. My tranny in my 01 F-250 4x4 7.3 kicked the bucket about 7 months ago and it was BAD....had to replace entire tranny.

bellis, you are only 168 miles from lead hill, ar the home of BTS. Your problem sounds like the solenoid pack. If you can't solve the problem, BTS can solve your problem, sure wish i lived only 168 miles from lead hill, sure would be better than 682 miles.
