Seems our Excursion has joined the club of 4R100's given up the ghost at 94k miles.

I'm in the preliminary stages of getting the truck to Brian's Truck Shop in Arkansas for a transmission makeover ;tu

I be going down the road then the rpms go up and the truck s starts slowing down accompanied by transmission fluid coming from the vent hole on the dust cover under the bell housing covering the torque converter.

Recently it's been having a hard time shifting out of 1st.

I did the annual fluid and filter change this past March, for the first time the fluid is burnt smelling and is gray-ish dark red.

Fluid temps go as high as 180 degrees sitting in traffic and drops 15-20 degrees at highway speeds.

My friends know how much I over maintain our truck but for a truck hauling it's own weight of over 8,000 lbs everyday finally taxed the TQ and transmission:D

We won't get into Brian's till mid/late August.
