I have a couple questions. First , a friend is going to sell me his 6 month old used 4'' skyjacker lift off of his 2002 f350. Is there any problems involved with installing a used lift kit?

second. I am currently running 265/75/16 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires .Will these work with this lift kit or are they to small. Will they look funny with this lift, and does anyone have pics of what this will look like with this size tires? All input is welcome . thanks

I can't imagine any problem installing a used lift as long as the previous owner gives you all the components.

I personally don't care for the look of a lifted truck with stock sized tires but that is a personal preference. Some guys run lifts with stock tires and they must like it.

make sure you get a front end alignment done after installing the lift....as for the tire issue, i think with the lift, it will look a little funny, in my opinion....even at stock height mine looks a little out of place with the stock tires, so i will be changing mine to a bigger size, in the near future....

If you check the Superlift webpage it will say that the recommended tire size for their 4" lift is 35/12.50. I forget the backspacing so if you check it out then you can find it. The stock 265's will look really goofy. I have the 265's on mine with stock suspention and they look a little too small. I can't imagine what they would look like on a lifted truck.

You probably don't have to go with the 35/12.50. If you don't want that big of a tire you might look at a 315 which should be a little smaller. The best thing to do is look at other Fords as you are out and about. When you see one with bigger tires and a lift, look at the rear axle and try to determine how much it is lifted by looking at the blocks between the axle and leaf srpings. Then check the tire size. That's the best way to do it. That way you don't end up with your truck not looking like you thought it would. Also, surf the web looking for pictures of Fords and look at the specs. Ebay motors usually has alot of pictures so you can get an idea of what you want yours to look like.
