its the engine they are using in the "Little Cab Forward" trucks. i have wanted to put one in a jeep since i first saw it.

as far as the swap, the best thing to do would be to buy a rollover, or a truck that had a tree land on it. you will need just about everything off the truck as far as wiring, and you will even need to mount the LCF guages in your dash.

that would be a SWEET ride if you do it!

No input but I do have a question. What is a LCF 4.5L PowerStroke? Never heard of it.

LCF means Low, Cab Forward. LCF is a generic term used to describe cab-over cube vans, mason dumps, etc. Think Isuzu, Hino, etc. The Ford LCF is a cross breed between Ford and International and use a V-6 powerstroke. A friend of mine who does custom gutters has one and its a pretty cool set-up. Its engine is essentially a 6.0 minus 2 cylinders.

the cab is actually borrowed from mazda, and the IH version is the same thing with a different badge. i havent heard much about reliability, or workability on them.

500 hours is about right!
