Toyo's are some super tires, but they are $$$

I got regular old 235/85 R16's in the M55 line, they were about 170 a piece wholesale, plus mounting. And I had to buy 6 of them :eek:.But they very nice tires :sweet

Well the local dealer dropped them down to $1,170 which is only $100 more than the eBay price. I figured the $100 was worth the local dealer warranty. I am not sure how you go about warranting a tire that was purchased on eBay? I dropped the cash and they will be mounted up sometime tomorrow with pictures to follow. I can't believe I just spent $292.50 for a tire but I guess that is what big tires that will haul some weight cost.

I did find some Hankook 315/75R16 Dynapro MT tires that are rated the same as the new Toyo's for a little less money but with that big camper on my back I figured why chance a tire that I know nothing about. The Toyo has proved itself with the camper guys over on the camper forum so I went for it. If a tire was to blow I am guessing it would be a quite a ride..

I have always felt that it is very important to have good quality tires for safety reasons.

Thats why I purchased them. It is all YOUR fault..

Hey Crumm;

The first time that you get into some serious weather, and those Toyo's pull you through safely, let us know. Nothing more important than the safety of your family. you can purchase a lemon on any type of product, but normally, the Toyo will give you the most peace of mind, more than the other brands that are out there right now.
Happy camping, and I hope the family enjoys your new camper.
