IMHO if you are going to change your oil on the 5's stick with dino oil. Knock on wood my Blackstone reports have been great so far using Rotella T.

Don't get me wrong........I am a synthetic proponent as my family has used it in our car engines for over 25yrs. I got in the habit of 5k oil changes when the truck was under warranty and just never made the switch. All other fluids in it are Amsoil.

95 stroker,

My oil analysis on my jeep was exactly the same when i switched to syn,but 2 oil changes later still on SYN they dropped to below waht normal was on Dino .

It basicly got rid of the crap I had in there that the dino wasnt washing away. I will change my oil filter after 1K in miles after the switch to SYN, ust like I did my jeep.

For the record, I am not anti-syn, I only wanted to shed some light that not all engines are appreciative of syn oil... why??? I dunno.
