Decisions, decisions..... Hmmm. If I go the 285s how do you guys think it would affect my mileage. I've got 4.10 gears now.

Yours was a 4x4.

One of the questions pertained specifically to the size of the tire on the rim, furthermore, I think the frame width and tire placement under the fender is the same on a 4 wd vs. a 2 wd...... lock to lock might be a hair different.

my truck is 4X4 and I am running 285s and It did affect my mpg slightly but I dont remember how much (it was over a year ago) sry...

i have 315/75r16, they rub on the leafs when i turn hard. running a four door long bed, i wish my radius was a little better.

I run 285/75/16 on mine with no rubbing, but i do have a leveling kit.
