My first pull after installing the 203 T-stat had my fan kicking in considerably more than before. BUT, I was also hitting headwinds/crosswinds as well. Those may have been more of a variable than the T-stat??? I haven't had a chance to pull since then so I don't know for sure???

My question is how many people in the triple digit climates are using one? I live in Phx and it was a nice 117 degrees outside yesterday. I tow a 35ft 5er a lot and do not want to overheat my truck. I have seen it it get hot once when towing and that is what scares me.

It's been awile since ol' FireRooster responded but it was only today that I was him asking about it...

FR,

I live in Lake Havasu.... as you know were typically a little hotter than you are even... I can say that I don't notice a difference in temps on the guage... But I have saw my MPG's go up from around 12-12.5 in town and 13.5-14.5 on the highway to 14-14.5 in town 15.75 - 16.25 on the highway...

I highly recommend this mod to anyone... :thumbs
