Anyone considering going to the new F-150 PSD when it hits the showrooms? Hopefully the mileage will be rated around 30 highway. That would put it a mile or two better than the Ram 1500 diesel. I'm sure the engine will be a very expensive option, considering what diesels add to the price. The SuperDuty PSD is at least an $8000 addition.

I've heard rumors. But nothing solid. If it's anything like the Titan and Dodge's Ecodiesel I'll pass. The towing numbers were the same as the gas versions. To me the cost of the diesel isn't worth the possible mileage in that case. I want the higher tow ratings.

3.0L diesel for the F150 is mentioned at the Ford website. I think it said the diesel may be introduced in spring of 2018. I'm certainly liking the new front-end treatments over the 2015-2017 tombstone grilles. I would've bought a 2015 but could not get past the fugly.

I'm gonna have to hang on to my 08 F-150 for awhile. It's got 170k and still going strong. Wife lost her job so I'm driving the Honda every day since it gets twice the mileage of the 150. Still miss my 02 F250 PSD.
