This is sort of where I am at now after owning a diesel for 13 yrs. A diesel used to be simple before all the EPA changes since 1998, now too complicated for my skills. Now it seems the gassers are simple, and long lasting and post warranty repairs/upkeep may be more affordable ?x2...with the economics of a diesel being so high to own/operate coupled with the spread between gas/diesel...it could make a lot of sense for A LOT of people to have the gasser.
Certainly an option for me too...
PS - No towing, only ocassionally hauling a heavy truck camper in the bed.
