Hi all,
My first post on SDD.com, although my company, trucksecurity.com, has been an advertiser for about 8 mos or so.

I have a customer who is having trouble removing the door panels from his 2008 Super Duty truck. He says the tutorials we provided were fine for his 06, but the 08 is different.

If anyone has some seat of the pants instructions, and maybe a photo or two we could use it would be greatly appreciated.

Once I get him helped I will refer him directly to this site for his super duty infotainment!

Thanks,
Steve

Hey Steve!

Yeah there's a plastic cover under the armrest. Pop it out with a small screwdriver which will expose two more screws that need to come out. The panel should be removable now. If you haven't removed the black panel behind the mirrors yet, they need to be popped off as well so the door panel comes off more easily.

Many thanks!
I plan to send my customer to you guys, I see from browsing around there is a ton of knowledge on this forum.

Wouldn't happen to have a couple of photos I can use showing the items you mentioned would you? I"d like to add them to my tutorial so others can benefit.
Thanks!

Wish'd I had a 08 to tear into and photo shoot every mod but I don't,if I can find a club member that would permit me to disassemble their truck for the how-to I'll be on it! :sweet

PS; Remind me around Xmas time to stop by,I'll be in Gilbert with the family for the holidays this year:cool:
