Help Needed 2008 F350 or 1999 F350

OK, here's my dilemma. I have a 1999 F350 7.3L Crew Cab LWB SRW 4WD 6 speed with 230000 miles. The truck has some issues. They overhead console no longer works, the seats are shot, hence the new superhide seat covers, the power door locks do not work, the windshield has a crack and the side view mirrors are not retractable, and the bed has seen better days as well, but no rust to speak of.

I'm looking at a 2008 F350 6.4L Crew Cab LWB SRW 4WD auto King Ranch with 159000 miles. No issues that I can see with a clean car fax. The used car dealer is asking $32000 for the 2008 and offering me $15000 for mine, nearly $4300 more than I paid for mine. He will also let me keep my bed cover.

Any thoughts on what I should do. Dream truck with a new payment versus keeping my current truck with no payment in little over a year.

Payment would double.

The broken stuff on your '99 is all repairable. Most of it is pretty simple. How long would you keep the '99 if everything worked?

Mileage on the new truck is pretty high. It probably won't take you long to get to the mileage you are currently at on the '99.

For this deal, I would fix the '99. The trade in is good but I think they are making up for it on the price of the '08.

I would say first and foremost both trucks are over priced. I only paid 29000 for mine brand new (really good deal) 7.3 is great motor had one and put nearly 300k on it before getting a cummings(regret that move) I would pass on that deal. I think if you are in the market there are better deals out there man. Good luck!
