Our 2007 6L E450 cube van ,, has no boost at all , no power , starts great runs great , but makes no boost , has the 0608 code , says turbo solenoid is bad ? how do I check this ? or are the vanes stuck ?

With that 0608 code.. Check the connections to it, and/or just replace the solenoid.
Then...... Check all the I/C boots for leaks & cracks.

Is that code P-0608? It makes a difference. I am with Big Joe on checking the boots for tightness and cracks. This is the likely cause of your code. If the truck does not see boost, when it is suspected, it may cause a false code.

What Dave said.. And..Yer call butch2000, but if your I/C boots are the originals (11 years old now).. you might just Replace them all ?
If for anything.. to remove Them.. from any future Boost issues ?
