Should be. If it leaks bad there could be signs of antifreeze on the windshild when the defrost is blowing full tilt.

Both are excellent points. I had a core leak once that didn't soak the floor-board, but did stink up the cab. However, like you said, the defrost would fog up the windshield too. After reading your replies, I agree that the problem is probably elsewhere.

The diagnosis is a failed EGR cooler. Dealer has had the truck all week and said they found signs of corrosion in the EGR cooler. Unfortunately, they won't finish putting it back together today, so won't get it back until after the Christmas. Oh well, would rather have it back together right then rushed. Hopefully this fixes my problem.
