Question 2003 F 350 hard start / runs 2 to 3 min shuts off

HELP
6 Months ago I had the HPOP , fuel reg and press switch replaced and 1 injector replaced truck has 197,000 miles
truck shut down pulling into drive way . I have had it cranked about 4 times in the drive . it only runs for a couple of minutes and shuts down . I can only get it started again if I remove the upper fuel filter cap cycle the switch on to fill the bowl. put it to back on and try starting again . I have to try it twice or three times but it will start.

Sound like the frame rail fuel pump, it pushes fuel up to the main bowl. Have you checked the fuel filter there too??

I think Dogman has hit the nail on the head. You have a clogged fuel filter in the frame rail fuel pump (HFCM).
