2002 Powerstroke NO START

Runs rough, blows white smoke, and then doesn't start:
CPS and fuel pump replaced, valve covers removed
GPR smokes and gets hot:
replaced
Old batteries might be weak:
replaced

Still doesn't start...
could you have bad replacement CPS :dunno .
could you have bad fuel.
(I don't understand the last post about the clips on the valve cover...)
I'm a novice anyhow...don't mind me. But please let us all know the answer :oops:

Yeah I will for sure. I am definately confused on it. After cranking for a long time the tach does move some. I think it is a fuel issue. Either bad fuel, new fuel pump could be bad, or possibly glow plugs. I'm not too sure.
