2000 X - Headlight Switch Illuminate?

Dumb question, but I have a 2000 X and the Headlight switch doesn't illuminate, but everything else does. Can anyone tell me if the switch should be illuminating?

you know i never really looked at my dash , my fog light thingy i remeber cuz its yeller, but the headlight switch ?????
now i got to walk outside.

Mine doesnt. Only the knob itself lights up, but not the dash portion.

Thanks, I thought something should illuminate. I bet the guys that did the fog lights messed something up and I missed it.
