2000 F-350 7.3L Diesel Excursion (CABT)

Conversion performed in 2018 (IIRC) by Custom Autos by Tim in Guthrie, OK. When the previous owner sold it back to Tim and I bought from Tim last year. (Photos are from Custom Autos by Tim; I added 7.3L diesel badges and a bug deflector, but otherwise the truck is very similar.) I really love the upgrades the previous owner made, including the lift, tires and wheels, and tow mirrors. Love it!!! It carries our big family really nicely with room to spare, and we get about 16.8 mpg with the awesome 7.3L. (For comparison, we only get about 12.3 mpg with a 2010 5.4L gas Expedition!) Inside, it's very vintage with the original radio, and I plan to keep it that way (but I wouldn't mind upgrading the seats, especially the fourth-row seat so that they have headrests for added safety.)

It just doesn't get very cold inside in the Texas heat. The condenser coil was replaced when I bought it, but not the evaporator coil. Do I need to replace the evap coil and maybe the blowers front and rear?

That is awesome. How is it when you have to park it into a store parking lot though? You must be parking pretty far away?

thank you!!! no it's actually about the same length as an F-350 long bed crew cab, I think about 22 feet. If I'm careful, we just barely fit into a regular parking space, even with the hitch step.

Of course we still park it a good ways out just to keep it safe.

So what was it before? Just a 2018 F350?

It was a year 2000 F350 with 250k+ miles. It looks new inside, though.. vintage 2000-era dashboard, radio, seats, etc ;)
