I have a 7 year 200k on my 06. Extended by Ford for the month and a day that it sat in a dealership shop waiting to figure out a no start. I'll be lucky to have 80k on it by then. Just covers the motor. We had the ESP on our Five-Hundred and got it for just about half of what our dealer wanted by googling it online from a dealer out east.

I had a 5/100 had 6 of the 8 injectors replaced a month before it went out and 1 replaced under the factory 7/70 also egr/oil cooler replaced under it as well now that it's run its course I've deleted the egr.
I will say this is the first vehicle I ever thought it was worth it to buy. Parts and labor on the egr/oil cooler made it worth it oops forget the fuel sending unit was replaced under it also. If I would've been offered a longer one time wise I would've taken it. Oh well now it's time for me to get my hands dirty.
I had the injectors replaced for stiction not failure like the 1st one. Figured if I was venturing out of warranty protection might as well have all new injectors on someone else's dime.

I have a 4/48 on top of my 5/100 that takes me to amost 140,000. I was just wondering about the next available warranty?

I stopped at a Ford dealer yesterday. I have 65K on my truck. They offered me 36 months/48K miles. I could buy a longer term but $$$$$ talks. The 36/48 offered they offered my is 3 grand for the PremiumCare plan and 2700 for the ExtraCare plan.

Noticed you have a 450 what kind of mpgs do you get unloaded and pulling that 5er? Looking at a 450 for the next truck just heard about terrible mileage with the 4.30 gears.

The new ones get much better mileage. While at the dealer I was looking at a 2012 F450 they had on the lot. It was just what I would want except for Navigation and Moonroof. Two big $$$ I don't want nor need.

I have the 7/200 on my 06. Since I broke 100k I think it's been a wash cost wise. 1800 for warranty and 1850 in repairs. Truck currently has 180k and will break 200K by June.
If something major is going to fail, I just hope it happens before 200.
