Just returned from Flagstaff. Average for trip (appr. 1150 miles) 16.75 not pulling a load. However, leaving LA was a three hour bumper to bumper ordeal. Best trip milage from Flagstaff back to LA was 18.36. Once we were out of the heavy traffic, we kept it around 68 mph and between 1800 and 2000 rpms. Have had the truck since August and have just under 5000 miles. Average mileage since new is about 15.25. Many short trips around town in stop and go traffic. Mileage around town usually 12.5.

2005 F250 6.0 CC LWB 373 stock. Weight 7650 with a full load of fuel.

That's more similar to what I've been getting. Bout 12 in the city and no more than 17 on the highway. Maybe it's this damned New England fuel or something, but mileage just sucks lately. I'd hate to think that the weight of our new kid dropped the MPG that much.
